what should you do if your website consumes too much load and bandwidth

This is one of the most important and eminent issue which everyone must understand, many people have this issue that the vistors fall back because the website is taking a lot of time to load.


You keep on blaming the service provider but your forget that somewhere it might be fault at your end too.
Problems with other hosting providers:

1. What you should know is even if you change hosting and go to other service providers too, they only allow 2% CPU LOAD to a maximum level. and they charge around 10$ a month, which is equal to Rs. 520 a month.(for a year its 520 x 12 = Rs. 6240 /year, hosting fees only)  I am talking about good companies, like hostgator.But still you end up with the same problem, your website consumes too much load, and they will suspend your account.
2. Lack of support:  the service providers are out of india and they only talk on phone for sales, they will never talk for support on phone calls, and even its not possible for you to call abroad each and every time.
3. Then you are helpless:  unline The ICT development project where you can call your seniors, ask for help from your ME .. Lol, there is no Diwakar Dhyani sitting there to help you. All your money wasted, frustration held over your head and then you end your website career blaming company and your fate.
4. No counselling:  Other companies wont ever counsell you with help in case something went wrong in your website. In CIPL we always try to counsell you, as what has went wrong with your website and try to fix up your issues as there is no support which comes with opensources like wordpress.

 ISSUES CAUSING LOAD in your website:

1. First issue is Choosing the wrong theme: You want your website to look cool, so you implemented some theme which has a lot of flash things, cool looking background, which in return takes a lot of time in loading, so try to go to simple themes with no background, trust me, this will help you a lot.
2. Lots of Plugins cause heavy load:  people install lots of plugins in their website, but gentleman, its the most important reason why your website starts creating a lot of load, avoid lot of Plugins, its preferred to just install required plugins, like for Social Sharing, ALL in one seo pack and just a few more, that too recommended and advised by experienced people.
3. Keeping a check on SPAM:  go to settings > discussions> and select “comment required moderation” . Also make a habit of deleting the previous unwanted comments. Because the comments increase the size of the MySql database in your website and hence cause the website to go down.
4. Maintain the DATABASE SIZE: as said above have a habit of deleting unwanted comments and spam.
5. Wp- Cache Plugin: Install and use WP-cache plugin and tweak it. THIS WILL HELP YOU A LOT
6. No download content on your website:  its better to use file hosting sites for download and you can always give a download link, Create a collectors account in some file hosting site, example in ZIDDU.com, give the download links by creating Hyperlinks of download buttons.
